Upon arrival, explore the awe-inspiring Elephanta Caves, carved from basaltic hills between the 5th and 8th centuries, blending history and spirituality.
Marvel at the Main Cave’s intricate sculptures of Lord Shiva, showcasing forms like Nataraja (Cosmic Dancer) and Ardhanarishvara (Androgynous Form), and stroll through the other caves and courtyards on Cannon Hill. While there’s no strict dress code, please dress modestly out of respect for sacred sites.
